Plane View

"This is a nice hidden gem in the airport. The food was pretty good. I enjoyed the potato skins and a cup clam chowder. While my friend her son enjoyed the mozzarella sticks, philly cheesecake sandwich with a [cold] lobster roll. She said the lobster roll was her favorite! Be sure to check the white board for the special of the day! The bartender was very welcoming and attentive — this was probably the best customer service experience I had on the island...not to mention the least expensive!"

"An airport restaurant that’s worth a visit even if you’re not flying. The food is good (try the burger) and for aviation buffs the views of the planes can’t be beat."

"What a delightful surprise! Tucked into the corner of the MV airport is hallway to the restaurant - Plane View - I was hoping for a cold soda and a bag of chips. What we found was a really nice warrant overlooking the runway. Checked out the menu and there was a really nice offering including appetizers such as shrimp cocktail and potato skins. Service and the food delivery were super fast! And the food was excellent! Club sandwich was gigantic and loaded with meats and cheese, skins were house made and also excellent and the burger was cooked to order and the fries were delicious. Highly recommend!"

"You wouldn't typically expect a culinary gem at a small airport, but Plane View at Martha's Vineyard Airport is a delightful surprise! This cute diner truly makes the most of its location within the very small airport, offering a unique and charming experience. Despite being pretty busy and the staff seemingly spread a bit thin, our food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. It's a testament to their efficiency and the quality of their kitchen that they can maintain such standards even when hustling. If you find yourself at Martha's Vineyard Airport, whether flying in or just looking for a casual and tasty meal with an interesting backdrop, Plane View is definitely worth a stop!"

"Food was tasty, prices are fair, and portions were slightly generous. Just as importantly was the speed of service. The waitstaff were all punctual and attentive and the kitchen staff was very fast. At not point were we concerned about our flight. If you are flying off the island eat here. It is better to eat here for the convenience of location, fair pricing, and speed of service that to risk all that by going into town at O.B. or Edgartown."
